Little Stars Extended Care

Hi my name is Kim. I’m a 26 year old single Stay at home mom of 1, Gabriella (age 3 1/2). I went throw the ECE program at Niagara Collage (02-05). I have had First Aid and CPR training.I have many years of child care experience behind me with all types of children veering in ages, stages & ability's. (throw: babysitting, high school co-op's, collage placements, i also use to work at a larger home daycare)

Childcare has been my passion since i was 8yrs old. I love being around little kids, playing games, singing songs, reading stories. their is no bigger joy in life then watching children grow change & develop throw out the years.
I enjoy getting to know each indavigulae child for who he or she is (not just putting a child in a group & exspecting them to all act the same way)
I do believe in being furm but fair with disoplin. I use Time outs, redirections, loss of privlages (or items). I am furm with Temetertants & i will not cave in as it encourages negative behavour, insted i Praze a child when he or she is being good, polite & respectful.
Its my belieft that we need to teach children the values of life at a young age so they can grow & develop as more respectful, kindhearted indaviguales as they grow up.

My home is a safe place were children can relax and feel at home, with age apropreate toys games and activiteys. in a chld friendly enviroment.
