Rockton Agricultural Society (Home of Rocton World's Fair)

Our aim is to make aware the role of agr. to our rural/urban comm. through education, communication and entertain. which our Society promotes through conservation advancement, new agricultural tech.
The Rockton World's Fair is a 4 day agricultural fair held consecutively since 1852 on the Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend. Based upon attendance we are one of Ontario's Top 10 Agricultural Fairs. People attending the fair have the opportunity to experience a treat for all senses. We are known to have one of the largest 4-H & heavy horse shows.
Rockton is one of only 11 qualifying shows in Canada for the North American 6 Horse Hitch Classic Series. We have been named into the F.E.O.'s Top 100 Ontario Festivals & Events since 2008. In 2009 we were named Hamilton's Large Event of the Year by Tourism Hamilton. In the Spring (late March or early April) for over 30 years we have presented our famous Rockton Dinner Theater. 6 nights of locally written & performed humorous skits and homemade country meal with all the pies that you can eat.

Annual Rockton World's Fair held every Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend from Friday at 4pm to Monday at 5pm.

Annual Rockton Dinner Theater held every Spring for 6 nights (late March & early April).
Modern Hall Rental for weddings, stag & does, auctions, meetings, parties, auto swap shows, etc. holding 450 people.
Fully equipped modern kitchen. Separate meeting rooms available.
Many other buildings available for rent.
75 acres of grounds available for rent for driving competitions, horse , dog shows, Treasure Venture, car shows. Parking available for approximately 3000 cars. Electronic Sign space rental available.
