Grief, Loss, Trauma, individual & family Counselling. Compassionate services to people who have found themselves overwhelmed with their changed circumstance.
While change is inevitable we can sometimes struggle with the reality of what it means in our day to day life. Helping sort through these issues and embrace the good that comes from the change, is the main focus of our service. At these times, while our family can provide support, a counsellor can provide an unbiased, objective perspective on the situation that can not only be helpful, it can provide the safety of your ability to say exactly what's on your mind, without hurting anyone's feelings.
Social worker Elizabeth Puddy has had years of experience dealing with changes that come from loss, trauma and grief. Beth is a Registered Social Worker and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers that provides ongoing support and opportunities for growth and development within the field of social work.
The counselling is individually specific, with the focus on your personal lifestyle, confidential (within the parameters of the law) and discrete. The location can be in Beth's home, your home or at a neutral location determined by the geographical area in which you would like to meet.
The goal of any counselling is to help an individual learn more about themselves, their situation or at times to provide clarification about a given set of circumstances. It in all ways is meant to be helpful, client focused and goal oriented with the hope of returning the person to a state of balance and or satisfaction with the direction of their lives.
