Owner / Operator Robert Dorn is a career painter with a flair for absolute perfection. Having taken a sabatical from painting in 1998, he was employed by Hewlett – Packard Canada Corporate in Mississauga, Ontario for the territory support team. This was a unique position at HP and was developed by Robert for HP internally. As the bilingual National installation coordinator, he honed his managerial, organizational and team building skill to an unparalleled level. At HP Canada, there was no room for errors as our clients spent millions of dollars for both the hardware itself and the hardware support.

After Carly Fiorina was hired to overhaul HP in 2001, the position was phased out and Robert decided to leave Mississauga and come back home to his family in London.

Robert regrouped and restarted his company – The Robert Dorn Painting Company with much success in the property management field of the painting industry. He also concentrated on new home construction and the residential market.


Today, exactly a decade later, Robert found a niche market in painting properties in one day. Having launched ÜBERPAINTERS.ca, “Organizing and managing an army of painters comes naturally to me”, says Robert. The most important part of being a businessman and dealing with trades people and clients alike is to keep your word and to do exactly what you promised you will”. Robert says that ideally, he always tries to find that one little extra thing that will please the client at no charge.

Robert is a bachelor and chooses to live in London, Ontario.
