Health care professionals are selected from a roster of qualified specialists to address the insured individual’s application for catastrophic status. Assessments are completed to determine if the insured’s injuries meet the definition of catastrophic impairment.

Complimentary File Review/Consultation
Our health care professional reviews your AB or tort file to provide you with advice regarding the need for assessment and/or treatment.

Functional Abilities/Capacity Evaluation
A comprehensive assessment that quantifies the individual’s total body movements and defines safe limits for functional activity in general or for a specific job. At the HHAC, evaluations are completed by registered health care professionals such as Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.

Functional Driving Assessment
An individualized process designed to answer questions about the individual’s ability to work in the area of transportation
