Gaia Java Bells Corners

Gaia Java started out with a desire to find the perfect cup of coffee. Disappointed by much of what was found in the marketplace, We decided to take matters into our own hands and start roasting our own coffee. After some experimentation we found that freshly roasted coffee (including the unevenly roasted rejects from our early experiments) tasted vastly better than what we could find in the stores. Fresh roasted coffee, we realized, had a quality and taste that was fleeting - a week or two after roasting, the qualities diminished (even quicker if the coffee is ground). It was then we realized that coffee should be consumed within a week or two after roasting in order to experience its optimum flavour qualities. We began roasting in small batches twice a week for friends and family. The activity quickly grew and we decided to start our own business providing freshly roasted coffee to those who, like us, had a desire to find the perfect cup of coffee.
