In 1987, entrepreneur and Chef Bill Gregorash realized his dream of changing the culinary landscape of Thunder Bay. Bill’s vision of fine Northern Italian cuisine in a refined, comfortable, but fun setting – was entirely unique to the Thunder Bay dining experience.

Two decades later, the high standard of excellence continues with, Pat & Don Mastroianni. A true family, Pat and Don continue the tradition with son Mark in a welcoming and comfortable Thunder Bay landmark. Customers are friends, and part of the family and are made to feel that way with each visit.

The pasta is made fresh daily on site, extraordinary entrees are cooked in a vibrant “first of its kind” open concept kitchen. Cooking classes and wine tastings that inform, but most importantly entertain. All prove that Giorg Ristorante is much more than the sum of it’s parts. A true epicurean adventure.
